Technology fair starts from January

Corona has left in 2021. In the west, the year 2022 of the Gregorian calendar started with the presence of Omicron. But so far Bangladesh is relatively risk free. There is still fear. Strictness is imposed on the New Year celebration in public gatherings. However, to keep the technology sector strong, the people involved in the sector are organizing fairs at the beginning of the year as before. The festive mood is being visible from the just started January. The smartphone and tab fair will be held again on January 6 at Bangabandhu International Conference Center. After a break of two years, this year's event will last for three days. 5G Experience Zone will add special feature in this year's fair organized by Maker. Meanwhile, this year's Mobile Congress is to be held at the same venue. The conference is scheduled to be held from January 12 to 14, but there are fears that the day may be delayed at the last minute. AMTOB, an association of mobile operators, is a partner in the event, led by the Department of Posts and Telecommunications. The Digital Bangladesh Fair is also going to be held on March 15. The three-day fair is being organized in an exceptional way by ISPAB, an organization of internet service providers. The biggest surprise at the fair will be the Internet of Things and Bangladesh's readiness for Internet-based digital services of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Maker will announce the details of Mobile and Tab Expo on January 2. Coordinator of the fair organizing committee Abu Abdur Rahman said, this year's fair is powered by Teletalk 5G and the Technology partner is Huawei. The fair is sponsored by Samsung, Oppo, Vivo, Realme, Techno & DX, and logistics partner E-curier. And regarding the Mobile Congress, AMTOB media spokesperson Abdullah Mamun said that the day is likely to be postponed. The event could take place next month. On the other hand, regarding the Digital Bangladesh Fair, ISPAB President Imdadul Haque said that they are making final preparations for the fair with everyone in the telecom sector in coordination with the government. An outline has already been created. However, the matter will be officially announced after the newly elected committee takes charge.
